How to Apply
Applying for the Program Step-by-Step
Getting started with the Rural Alberta EDP is simple. Here’s how it works:
- Check your eligibility by reviewing the program criteria.
- Contact your local Community Futures office or fill out our contact form.
- Discuss the program with your local EDP Coordinator and if it’s the right fit for you, complete a brief Participation Agreement.
- Meet with a coach where you’ll select your coaching package and create a coaching plan that fits your goals and circumstances. You can apply for up to two coaching packages each Program year (April-March).
- Receive coaching sessions in a structure that works for your situation — flexible, supportive, and tailored to you.

Use our Community Futures Office Locator and tell them you are interested in applying for the Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Program and the other services they have on offer. They will take it from there.
